[ClickPress, Thu Nov 02 2006] EcoTulum Resorts & Spa, a small collection of boutique hotels and holistic spa in Tulum, Riviera Maya, Mexico, joins forces with registered nurse Nancy Myers to help promote Give a Toy Get a Smile, a non-profit charity whose aim is to improve the lives of less fortunate children in and around Cancun, with the gift of toys. A drop off station at EcoTulum Resorts�, Caba�as Copal in Tulum, is now accepting new, unwrapped toys to help Myers with her initiative.

Visitors to the Riviera Maya are asked to make room in their luggage for new toys to give to the underprivileged children of Cancun this holiday season. The first toy delivery will be distributed among children in the Learning to Live with AIDS-HIV program. The second toy distribution is planned for children spending their holidays in local government hospitals.

SARATOGA SPRINGS -- Saratoga Springs' reputation as the summer place to be helped push the average hotel room rate countywide during August to nearly $200 a night, new data from Smith Travel Research show.

While hotel rooms in the Capital Region averaged $107.11 a night during the third quarter, in Saratoga County those rooms cost $154.52 on average. In August, when Saratoga Race Course was operating, the average room rate climbed to $199.63.
